How to make a perfect Tea
For those who know me, know that I am a big tea ☕️ fan. Not only I love tea, but I also want it perfectly done, like super perfect 👌.
And when I see many people struggle in making a good sip of tea, it makes me sad🙁. So, today I’m gonna spill my little secrets for every trying soul out there, it’s just easy peasy. I am gonna show you how it’s done.
A good sip of tea, right in front of your eye.
The one where you know the ingredients.
To make a good sip of tea, first, you need a list of ingredients. The most essentials are Milk 🥛 , sugar, tea bags, tea pan, gas stove, or anything where you simply can cook.
Then, additions like cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, etc. The additions are completely optional and you can use anything you wish, like ginger, bay leaf, ghee, or even a pinch of salt.
Additions are to give our tea an extra flavor, an addition to the taste.
The one where you measure the amount.
All you need to know about good tea is the amount you are making. Either you are making it for yourself alone, for a couple of people, or perhaps for a whole bunch of people.
Just measure the amount of milk you need, fill the serving cup then pour it into the pan. You want a cup, fill a cup, 10 cups, fill 10 cups and pour in the pan.
There, you have the amount you need, no more, no less.
The one where you actually cook.
When we are done with the desired amount of milk on the pan, we now have to light 🔥 the gas up. We’ll let the pan get heated and then the milk, and wait till it comes to a nice boil.
Make sure it won’t overflow, you won’t want that.
Then we put the gas into its lowest flame and put sugar as per taste, tea bags, then the additions we’ve taken, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon. You can also use the powdered form of the spice as it can dissolve in the liquid faster providing a faster result.
Some people love ginger as an addition, it has an advantage of keeping you warm in the winter plus the flavor is considerably good I must say.
I also love a pinch of ghee in the tea, which makes it super delicious.
And not to forget about a pinch of salt, damn that thing is heavenly ❤️, it’s an acquired taste as well.
Additions are a completely personal choice and if you don’t have any available with you right at the moment, it’s fine. With a little more boiling of the tea will make it excellent itself.
We will let everything come to a boil in the lowest flame only and stir occasionally.
The one where you decide the texture.
The texture is a fundamental part of a good tea
For me, I like my tea dense and rich. I make it with full-fat whole milk. If you want, you can add water as per your wish. Also, know how long you want your tea to be boiled. I love mine boiled a little longer till I get that dark color with all the aroma it has to offer.
The one where you make it with love ❤️
Tea is a delicate thing to make. It requires an effort, little love, and happiness into it. As they say, “the happier you are and the love you contain, the better food becomes”.
Plus don’t forget that you need to put full attention towards the process. Know that tea is an attention-seeking kind and if it doesn’t get what it wants, it floods making a mess.
You won’t want a mess, I guess 😉.
The one where you Serve it.
You know what to do the rest. When you think the tea is done once it spreads the aroma it offers, turn-off the gas.
And it’s done!
Pour the tea in a cup by filtering as you won’t want the additions to be in your tea. Once you have served it, click a good picture 📷 of it using all your photography skills cause social media, and enjoy it.
There you’ve just made a good cup of tea I suppose and if not, just try it again and again and again until you get it as per your desire. Because practice lets a person make a perfect tea ☕️.
